Ready for takoff at the wetland roost just south of the farm
A yellow sunrise at the wetland roost
Sandhill cranes returning to the roost after a storm
At this time, in 2006, farm partners would grow corn for the birds and alfafa for sale. The farm has now shrunk to an area operated by the NWR staff to feed the birds and save the water used by the partners for the wetlands.
To be found at the southern border of the refuge
Winter plumage
